FAQ’s

Do I have to make a reservation?

Always for infants ( up to 2 years). It is ALWAYS recommended for all children- as we have limited space in our center.  We also offer a discount for reserving online.  We are an on-demand facility, which means you can reserve or stop in whenever it’s convenient for you.

**If you have an emergency pop up for an infant, or something last minute- please call to see if we have availability. We are always happy to accommodate as long as we are properly staffed.

Are there minimum or maximum stay requirements?

There’s a 1 hour minimum stay requirement and no maximum. Please note, we’re closed on Sundays & every other Monday. ( see calendar and Facebook updates for reminders or additional closings)

Do I have to pre-register?

No- although it is highly recommended to have a much quicker drop-off. You can register HERE.

Do I have to become a Member?

Nope! Although, being a member would get you lower rates, sibling discounts, reservations and Member-Only discounts!

What can I expect on the first visit?

Fill out the  registration online.  We’ll need a copy of your child’s immunization record, or a waiver.  (please see next question below for further details).   You’ll sign any additional papers, we’ll set you up on our secure finger-printing check-in system- and you’re good to go!  Please allow up to 15 minutes to finalize the first visit- after that, it’s a quick drop off!

Are you licensed?

Due to the part time nature of our business, we don’t qualify as a child care center, and are exempt from licensing in Indiana. Our facility operates within the parameters of the exemption : Indiana Code (IC) 12-17.2-2.8 under Sec. 28.4(a) “Child care center”, for purposes of IC 12-17-2, means a non-Residential building where at least one (1) child receives child care from a Provider (3) for more than four (4) hours but less than twenty-four (24) hours in each of ten (10) consecutive days per year, excluding intervening Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

We are closed every 10th consecutive day ( every other Monday, as posted in advance).  We strive to meet any applicable regulations- and in fact go above and beyond in quality. Our facility has been designed to meet the code required for an education facility in Indiana.  We follow the child/teacher ratios for the state of Indiana. We have staff on call if we need it- and recommend reservations to ensure a spot. Safety is always our first priority.

Does my child have to be up-to-date on immunizations?YES! For the safety of others, all children are required to be up-to-date on their immunizations on their 1st visit and provide us with a copy of this record within 30 days. Per Indiana guidelines, this is not required if there is a medical reason (doctor verification required) or for religious purposes.
